Townhouse Garden
Design Brief
The client brief was to provide a low maintenance plan and planting plan for the back garden of a new build 3 storey townhouse in Insch, Aberdeenshire. It was important that the garden could be viewed from all 3 floors of the townhouse including the balcony.
The Design
The garden was North West facing so plants needed to be fully hardy. Sun was limited at different times of the day. The clients required raised beds for vegetable and fruit growing in the sunniest part of the garden and also bespoke planters for the balcony. The garden was long and narrow so it was important to create width within the garden. The planting needed to be all year round interest and wildlife friendly. Balcony planters and raised beds by S.
