Design Brief – Garden is east facing and gets sun in the morning. Lovely Victorian cottage which is symmetrical in design therefore design should fit in with this symmetry but should be in keeping with Victorian style. Lawn currently not working and needs to be replaced with something more workable. More year round interest plants needs to be introduced such as evergreen structure planting e.g. Buxus which would provide backbone to the garden. Suggested planted pots either side of door to give symmetry.
