Design Brief:
This is a productive suburban garden in Ellon.
The property was a new build house in Ellon with a wrap around garden space from the front to the back garden. The main objectives were was to integrate the different areas of the garden and make the space more usable, give the clients privacy but increase the flow from the house to the garden. The current lawn area was not used much as it was not integrated with other parts of the garden and there was no direct access from the space. The clients also wanted an informal seating area with a pergola for space and space for a pizza oven, an area for growing fruit and veg and wildlife friendly planting as well as natural landscaping.
