Design Brief:
A curved back garden in the heart of Aberdeen’s West End.
The back garden is East facing. It was mainly to lawn with a curved path to the South West corner and borders in front of the boundary fences. The clients wanted to update the space which was over 20 years old. Their preference was a curved design layout with new planting. The clients were keen to keep some existing plants as part of the new garden. This included a wisteria which was replanted in a sunnier spot. The clients who had recently retired wanted an attractive and productive space and somewhere to relax. Mature trees in or near the garden which shaded part of the space were kept where possible and incorporated into the design.
