FAQs
What time of year is best to plant a garden?
In North East Scotland, the planting season is from April to late October (depending on weather conditions). Bulbs, hedging and trees (especially bare root plants) may be able to be planted between October and April depending on weather and ground conditions.
How long does a garden planting take?
It depends on the size of your garden!
Is August too late to plant a garden?
No. Planting can take place until the end of October whilst the soil is still warm. This means that plants will establish before the winter and put on a better display next year.
Can you plant just a portion of my garden?
Yes. We can design and plant one border to a whole garden. It depends on the size of your project.
Do you specialise in certain types of plants?
Yes. Those that survive the weather conditions in North East Scotland. Right plant, right place!
